Avgi, my mother, had this love of hosting, gathering people, hosting Tea Parties and created a beautiful atmosphere of social meetings and philanthropy.

 

After the Turkish invasion to the North of Cyprus, we hosted and welcomed many refugees and Cypriots that lost their homes within an instance.

​

Avgi also gathered people for donations, money, clothes and food, red cross events and other organisations dealing with love and care for people - adults and children.

​

Our friends and school mates knew that it was the best place for them to get a sweet, a tea and some of Avgi's amazing goodies and delicacies (Yes, she was an amazing, extraordinary cook, as well).
